This program is the result of discussions and roundtable conversations with leaders across the state, who are striving to manage the myriad demands of leading a school district while continuing to drive meaningful change in their schools and districts.

Even if you have completed the Conference Registration - you need to complete this form to register for this leadership strand.

Why Attend? As leaders in education, we must step out of our schools and spend time exploring what innovation looks like today and tomorrow. Here are some compelling reasons why your participation is vital:

  • Empower Leadership: By serving as models of learning innovation, we can inspire and empower our teams to embrace new ideas and approaches.
  • Futurist Perspectives: Explore forward-thinking ideas and perspectives on education to prepare future-ready graduates.
  • Impact of AI: Examine the implications of generative artificial intelligence on teaching and learning, and its impact on education and the workforce.
  • Collaborative Solutions: Share challenges and growth opportunities, and solicit feedback for building the Leaders Learning Lab to streamline our roles while fostering creativity.
Program GoalsOver two days, we will reflect on the following goals and answer key questions:
  • What is innovation? What are the mindsets and myths of innovation?
  • Why innovate?
  • Rethinking Resources: How might we rethink our use of time, talent, and technology?
  • Structures for Innovation: What are the structures that lead to innovation by design?
  • Balancing Innovation: How might we balance innovation with safety and security?
