Middle school is a pivotal stage of development when students begin forming their identities, exploring interests, and imagining future possibilities. Yet too often, career-connected learning is reserved for high school. This workshop explores the importance of bringing career exploration and authentic, real-world learning into middle-level education. Participants will examine how academic teachers can collaborate with CTE educators, community partners, and digital resources to design engaging, career-connected projects that align with future pathways. By making learning relevant and forward-looking, schools can help students build confidence, purpose, and a clearer vision of their future.
