Thursday May 15, 2025 11:00am - 11:45am EDT
What if, on your first day of New Educator Orientation, you walked straight into The Amazing Race? For our new teachers, this was an experience like no other! On their first day in our district, we traveled "around the world" (or around the building), getting to know our Portrait of a Learner. Teachers were introduced to the 8 skills and dispositions through unique stations, collaborating with district and building administrators, all within the theme of The Amazing Race. The sessions included strategies, pedagogy, and opportunities to collaborate, problem-solve, and prepare for the journey ahead.
