You get the Assistive Tech Roadshow - a traveling learning experience for students and teachers led by Clarkstown’s Learning Technology Facilitators.

Adobe Express is a multidimensional media creation tool that’s accessible and fun for creators of all ages. Whether your interest is graphic design, voicing animated characters, producing videos with Adobe’s huge royalty-free video, photo, and music library, building sleek looking web pages, or jamming them all together for a creative combo, then Adobe Express is right up the alley of the aspiring and inspired content creator. Join us for a hands-on session of creative merrymaking.

We are thrilled to invite district administrators to the inaugural iLEAD: Innovation Lab for Educational Administrators and Directors program, held at the Crotonville Conference Center on May 15th and 16th. This program is the result of discussions and roundtable conversations with leaders across the state, who are striving to manage the myriad demands of leading a school district while continuing to drive meaningful change in their schools and districts.

I will be demonstrating a collaborative STEAM project which can involve two different grade levels. Firstly, groups of students (5th graders in our middle school) create mini-golf holes with moving features utilizing Hummingbird robotics and cardboard. Next, individual students (8th graders in our middle school) design and fabricate putters using wooden dowels for the shaft and 3D printed putter heads. Finally, both groups of students get to play the mini-golf holes with ping pong balls. Participants will get to interact with elements from all phases of this project - and get to play some mini-golf!
