Middle School Mini Golf: Authentic Robotics and Fabrication Skills
Friday May 16, 2025 2:15pm - 3:00pm EDT

Firstly, groups of students (5th graders in our middle school) create mini-golf holes with moving features utilizing Hummingbird robotics and cardboard. Next, individual students (8th graders in our middle school) design and fabricate putters using wooden dowels for the shaft and 3D printed putter heads. Finally, both groups of students get to play the mini-golf holes with ping pong balls. Participants will get to interact with elements from all phases of this project - and get to play some mini-golf!
