This presentation is designed to help any secondary teacher utilize Universal Design for Learning principles to quickly make their classroom and curriculum more inclusive and accessible for all learners.

Helping our youngest students to navigate and thrive in the digital world has to be a priority for every teacher and school. This session will share our journey through implementing media literacy/digital wellness lessons in our K-5 library and technology program. Learn and explore practical activities, lessons and resources for teaching these essential skills.

As AI continues to impact our world, it is important to show students how AI can be a powerful tutor. This starts with the prompts. This workshop will demonstrate how teachers can tweak existing lesson plans to include AI to deepen learning and create a more authentic experience for students, while showing them how to use AI ethically. Your lessons are already great, let's do this with as minimal changes as possible!

In this collaborative and interactive session, we will explore how the Keynote app can elevate classroom engagement. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of its functionality, discover various strategies for creating instructional materials, and learn how to foster student creativity using Keynote. By the end of the session, attendees will leave with practical ideas and actionable insights on integrating keynote into their own lessons.

As a librarian and a technology integrator we have spent the year exploring how to incorporate AI in a way that helps students think about media literacy anew. With AI being an everchanging technology teachers need to approach the topic with a flexible mindset. Our goal is for students to be able to successfully navigate the technology and critically think about its application. In this session we will share the lessons we have done with students and the workshops we have led with teachers. Participants will walk away with lesson ideas and new teacher tools to add to their repitoire.
