Jenifer Vazquez is the Technology Staff Developer at Blind Brook UFSD with 7.5 years of experience. She was a former MS/HS math teacher in Japan and California where she developed a passion and interest in integrating technology in meaningful ways. She holds a certification as a Google Certified Trainer, Apple Teacher, Apple Learning Coach, and an Educational Technology Specialist (K-12) which have given her the tools to foster a rich, engaging learning environment where technology enhances, rather than replaces, meaningful instruction.


Jenifer Vazquez has played a role in transforming the district’s approach to educational technology. Alongside her colleagues, she helped guide the transition from 1:1 Chromebooks to iPads, provide ongoing professional development to support teachers, develop summer professional workshops, create a self-paced online course, work collaboratively with teachers and ensure they have the tools and strategies to feel confident and successful in their classrooms year round. Jenifer is passionate about the possibilities of Technology in teaching and while it is constantly evolving, so are the needs of our students. While she might not have all the answers, what is most important to her is that she's learning and growing alongside students, teachers, and her colleagues.
